Pal Karmae Sangha Dhuche, the full assembly of the monks community at Rumtek Dharma Chakra Centre, depends on the financial support of donors to continue to bring to fruition the vision of His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa for his principal seat outside Tibet. The seat of the Karmapa is home to 150 monks in the monks community, for whom the monastery must provide the bare necessities, as well as the education and well-being of the younger monks.
The monks community has traditionally relied on local Sikkimese Buddhist donors to make ends meet, but this reliance has been stretched by rising food costs and rising costs for educating young monks. Sometimes the sangha falls quite short of meeting its monthly needs.
Pal Karmae Sangha Dhuche continues to perform the full
daily schedule of pujas and rituals set forth by His
Holiness the Sixteenth Karmapa. All of the practices and prayers are
dedicated to the benefit of all sentient beings as numerous as space.
As a friend to the dharma, your greatest help would be to pledge regular, ongoing support and sponsorship, in whatever amount you can offer. One-time donations are equally welcomed.
